Focal therapy at Spire Southampton Hospital
Focal therapy at Spire Southampton Hospital is delivered by Mr Tim Dudderidge, Consultant Urological Surgeon at The Focal Therapy Clinic. Guided by MRI-ultrasound fusion imaging, treatment with HIFU or NanoKnife targets only the cancerous area of the prostate while sparing the healthy tissue around it.
Treatment at Spire Southampton follows a same-day (day-case) pathway: you are admitted, treated and — in most cases — home again the same day, with follow-up arranged by your consultant. To find out whether focal therapy is right for you, check your suitability or book a consultation with Mr Dudderidge.
